Posted a picture in my diary of a picture that was in a bag of seeds I was sent. No info on it. Really nice orange color and shape. Came with a bunch of older seeds so think it may be an older seed. Any info on it would be appreciated.

Ahhh, the 689.5? THAT is the orangest seed i have ever grown, and it is incorporated into several of my crosses, including my 100 est. (746 Snyder X 689.5 Sandercock) and my 301.5, the other super-orange cross of Pumpkin Dreams (677 Catapano X 689.5 Sandercock). i hope you get them to germinate and experience the 'Liquid Orange' of itself and in its offspring! i mean, look at the Momma, there; okay, back to waiting for my 575 Wolf to sprout, lol---eg

PS---I've always thought it is pretty neat that the 689.5 came from the 869.5 Calai- the numbers are just in a different order. Like, the 1278 Palkovich from the 639 Pugh (639 X 2) and 1140 Stelts = (705 Stelts X 435 Grindle); (705 + 435 = 1140)... Pumpkin Pi = 1 big piece 4 me! eg
