Subject: HD Judging Criteria

I read the suggested HD judging criteria on the GPC website primarily color, size, shape and symmetry, do other factors such as minor rodent or hail damage count against you? That shouldn't disqualify you from HD consideration, but it's going to depend on the looks of the other pumpkins that attend.

Thats gonna hurt a little.A beauty contest is subjective with pumpkins. Youve gotta leave it in the hand of judges and like a dog show they dont always like the same things. Take your pumpkin to the weighoff and enjoy the experience.
