Hi Ruben. That's exactly what I did when I grew your 2183 last year. Only planted 1 plant in the ground and the backup in a 3 gallon pot. Gave a backup 2356 to another grower who grew a 1742 HD winner. That 2356 was in a 3 gallon pot for a month and was 3 ft long. Great seeds !!!

I've always triple-planted my patch with the backups on either side of the preferred plant. This makes good sense; keep the backups and pollinators in 20 gallon grow bags. I like it. Great post Ruben!

Good luck Dave this season!! Thanks Kevin, I had always done it this way, thank Travis, he was the one who pointed it out to me firmly, that it was a mistake to gather all the root mass of 3 plants in one planting hole.
