Interesting. I haven’t heard of using light this way before.

I have never used one this way before, but I have never had vines grow straight up like a cobra. In the past all my main vines have laid down with no issues, so this is my attempt to coax the main vine to lay down without snapping off, It will help, but how much only time will tell.

She will settle down..vigor baby vigor..I had one on the 1271 Karadza (2114 Wallace x self) that was curaled something fierce. Your lucky to be inside as the wind is a mean variable. Take your time work it down very very slowly with those sticks you roast marshmallows with. Do not forget the plant is cold and brittle. Slow with a warm plant. You got this McMillin your a boss.

I shoulda put this here, first -
Great idea, from a great mind. If I may - a bit more focus might help. If you have walking boards, create a tunnel around each light so the plant only sees that light, not from all around it, like you see from the house. Similar to a horse's blinders. eg

Should help... but if you want to get more extreme about it, put something dark/ black towards the rear or conpletely shade the back half of the plant... they should avoid growing towards anything dark.
Hence you can use both the carrot the stick, so to speak... Ive done this. Seems to work.

So, now we're coaxing a cold, corralled horse with blinders on, following a carrot, on boards in a tunnel, who's afraid of the dark and Heaven knows what else. I think altogether, we'll get them plants to grow to, fro and low, lol---eg
