Thanks Dale, I appreciate that, your pumpkins look awesome this year! The 1109 McMillin is a cross of both your pumpkins, your:
1819 Marshall x 2147 Marshall, so hopefully I can get one as big as you grow.

Beautiful pumpkin buddy.
Now’s the time to ask for advice because this game is all about personal bests.
Our competition is ourselves.
So here we go.
Before the pumpkin is the size of a beach ball we treat our plants “Mean & Keen”
It’s all about the “roots & shoots”
So if anything we under water them to keep the roots searching for moisture.
You are now at stage two.
This is the time that it’s all about the “pumpkin”
Now you need to be watering more often and more.
This is not great for the plant and roots but if that pumpkin has no “available” water even for a few hours the next time you water, it will split.
Once the pumpkin starts to slow down in growth you can cut the water down.
You are now back to it’s all about the “roots & shoots”
This is the time, if you forget about the pumpkin and go back to concentrating on your plants dreams will be made.

What Dale said!

And Ian is dead on with everything he said. I was only watering a couple times a week until this week.

Good luck and this one isn't going to split!

Ian thanks for taking the time to explain all that to me, I really appreciated it, good luck this year, hopefully that 2020 will take you above 3,000….

Doug and socal thanks, still crossing my fingers and praying this early in the season, but definitely excited at this point, been alot of disappointments in the last year, so hopefully this is the one.
