For what it’s worth i’m in the middle of a spider mite battle and that looks a bit different. My anecdotal observations are that the leaves start to yellow and brown and you can see stipulation where they are heavily attacked. I have not seen the leaves flop or droop. A 10x eye loop is an easy way to see them. Either way, good luck.

I deal with spider mites annually and have never seen healthy leaves fall down like that due to mites. Dawson's description is my experience also.

Too uncanny the timing and this Diary entry, I, too had a leaf-wilting problem just late yesterday -
On one, exactly-as-above leaf, the central 'rib' of perhaps 5 (I've never counted, lol) had frass along with a brownish discoloration of that rib for about an inch - I used my box cutter to cut a rectangular section out of it and there was a white grub visible in the rib. I just tossed it - I can't even kill a SVB grub, if that's what it was, lol---
ONE leaf and it was on just my 1215 Young. Go figure! I saw nothing of concern otherwise.
The rest of this plant is doing just great, as are most of them.
Now, for summer to just be 2X as long...laters---eric g

Sooooo...I wonder, if it was a SVB, she must've been aiming a little high, since I thought they usually hit the lower part of a leaf stalk - I do know it has nothing to do with vine-burying, between this post and my occurrence.
Carry on....eg

I would consider amputating the vine, to keep it from spreading. I think its rot.
