Thanks TruckTech, both 1783’s have that fire red color showing through. I’m really impressed with Chad’s seed. They all seem to have really nice shape and that fire red color, not to mention the two I planted have been the best plants and biggest pumpkins I’ve ever grown. Just praying they continue this pace and stay healthy till the end.

Looks great with your daughter plant you said it had 30 foot side runners does that mean all the side runners or just the ones closer to the pumpkin

Dale, All side vines are 32’ long. So plant is 64’ wide. The last 4 side vines closest to the pumpkin were ran out 32’ then turned. So the last 4 side vines closet to the pumpkin are actually over 60’ long with tertiary vines let grow off of them to fill in any space I had left inside the patch.

This pumpkin pictured is my pumpkin not my daughter’s. This pumpkin is in the spider or waterfall pattern like Moby Mike invented. This plant is much smaller it has exactly 588 sqft. There is no more room in its allotment space to let the plant grow anymore. It was actually an extremely rootbound backup plant that was left in a pot for 45 days and looked almost dead I was going to throw it in the compost pile but decided to plant it just for a porch pumpkin. I was originally going to plant a watermelon in this space that’s why this plant was smaller in size

Do you happen to have a pic or video of the 2400 sq ft plant? Im sure I have never seen a plant that big. I'm getting curious... The most I think I've seen is a 1300 sq ft plant.
