Altitude (to)maters (Scott)

It could be putting on the same amount of weight as before. Somewhere I have a chart that says what a 1/2" in weight is at certain measurements. The difference between 18 and 21 is pretty substantial.

found my chart. so roughly 17"to 18" is the same weight gain as 20 1/2" to 21. So even tho the tomato looks like it has slowed from 1" a day to 1/2" a day it is still putting on the same weight.

I took the formula from the Delectation of Tomatoes guy that used to post on here with numbers and such and have applied it to give me an estimate for weight. Kinna like the pumpkin people do. It is the single measurement one not the 3-way. (I have a hard enough time measuring just one way)

Ah, that makes sense Scott. Thanks!

Thanks Spudder, Marv's chart is def' a great reference. I've found that generally Domingos tend to go a bit lighter. When Marv made his chart, Big Zac was the dominate variety grown.
