You know if it tapes 2500 and you're still gaining 5-10 lbs a day how are you going to cut the thing off? September & October are good lb months here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm thinking if you've got the right genetics you could add 800 lbs. in Sept/Oct.

I also had to cut back on measurements. Just too difficult now. But regardless, even a non-measurement day I do my inspection checklist. Blossom, stem, feel the full circumference of the pumpkin at the ground, crown, etc, etc.
