I don't intend to wrongly advise you on it but I'm wondering what you might be fertilizing the plant with, if you don't mind my asking, and that node of whitish material at the base of the leaf could be covered over as that is the point from which more roots might still grow. You certainly have more vines buried than I do, lol---Great (Pumpkin) Job! eric g

I’m not putting any fertilizer on it besides what I mixed in my soil back in April. I put Bayer on it. I would have been more active with fertilizers and such but I had a baby in June so it’s been a busy summer.

Then, unless there starts to seemingly be anything wrong, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, lol. It's Dawning (lol) on me just today that the more the vines are buried, the more nutrition is available to the plant, thereby helping to avoid any deficiencies.
Here's to your baby being a model citizen for your fruits next year!
Nothing melts a heart here more than a Big Baby - and a little baby in awe of it!
