So less is more. Hopefully Smallmouth sees this. I bet more is not a bad thing nutrition-wise. It might be a bad thing disease-wise. Hence the up/down results they got. Note they say "worked in with a hand tiller." I wonder if they may have gotten "up-up-up" results if they had added larger and larger amounts in a healthy way to a no till system.

By "healthy way" I mean diseases could develop if the ph, moisture, temperature, oxygen, are favorable for disease or if there was any disease present in the alfalfa itself...? Just a thought.
