Yeah it's possible you're having the same problem I am. The soil isn't the problem because I'm using straight up seed starting soil and its pH is right around 7. Only factor could be the light. I mentioned in my post that my phone wasn't reading ppfd correctly so I just went straight the light's manual. The manual recommended a further distance than what I was using.
