I think there is some belief that these grow lights are replicating actual sunlight and NO ONE puts their lights as low as me at only 40 watts per tube and I don't seem to have any probs with what could be light deprivation, when I'm actually growing 'for real'. I'm not saying that the lighting or lack of intensity is the problem because no one knows at the moment, but would you rather stare at car headlights even in the day or the sun in the day? I'd expect no one to ever stare at the sun voluntarily to find out - So a distinction must be at least able to be made. I would lower my lights as far AH and see what that does, for free. You'll of course note that the main pot's seedling also has a yellowing tendency; You could Google how many watts are in sunlight? as I have and determine if your lights are measuring up, at so far above the plants. ***The power of the Sun at the Earth, per square metre is called the solar constant and is approximately 1370 watts per square metre (W/m2).*** Sorry for my 'always-preachy' and grouchy vibe. I never mean it, lol! (See?) Ha ha ha eg

I always appreciate your input lol! Yeah its really strange that i seem to be suffering from too much light and not enough light at the same time. there must be a big difference between sunlight and this growlight. I'm gonna see what Matt thinks and then go from there.

Perhaps ask for some other seeds from somewhere as well. I won't plug mine and be 'Mr. Nicer Guy' but a movie I just watched = I never expected 'HIM' (like seeds) to be the culprit...but he WAS there every time things went bad. It was a horror-comedy, lol. I know that even in sprouting MY seeds, they will be slightly different from each other - 'Look at those 'Cots'!' lol. G'luck---eric g

Burning as seen in your left plant, I find is never do to lights but to a potting soil that has too many nutrients in it, there are a lot of potting soils that are too strong for starting seeds, I typically cut mine with 50% seed starting mix or go full seed starting mix

Yeah these starting/potting mixes can be inconsistent. Some may have a slow release fertilizer that has all been released by the time you get it, others may use an acidic base of peat or forest products. They can offset the acidity with lime but after the product sits on the shelf or in a container for awhile it could revert back to being acidic? But, I think you said before that was not the issue.
