So, would you suggest to cut a late DAP fruit off the vine rather than leave it on? Or what age of fruit do you consider to be the maximum achievable before it starts losing?

Yeah, I was going to chime in but didn't. I've reweighed a few pumpkins over the years after they were picked. It is a very consistent loss of around 10-15 pounds per WEEK from evaporative loss.

What you're measuring is completely different.
