Ok so I'm interested to know how you've kept it from bolting by now? Doesn't look bitter. Between the slugs and short growing period, I don't bother with spring plantings anymore and just go for the second cool season in fall.

Hi TB, we have had a number of cool days here with winds off the ocean so that might have prevented bolting. Great for the greens, but not for the giant pumpkins. I don't think we are far off from bolting though as spinach is bolting in the garden next to us.

Well enjoy while you can. I have some random spinach that popped from a previous year that still hasn't bolted this year. I find that random pop up veggies handle the elements better than fresh seedlings for whatever reason
