I've been hearing that an 80:20 ratio of ammonium to nitrate is good. What is your opinion? Is this not really true? Perhaps this only applies to outdoor growing on certain soils. Either way, it seems your plants will have plenty to eat!

Ammonium nitrate is fine apart for waiting for the ammonium to be broken down to nitrate. I just prefer having the nitrogen dosed in spoon feeding. Nitrogen is the hardest element to get right at 100ppm.
