Some animals are repelled by their own feces. I suppose this might be territorial. It could be that some animals just don't poop where they eat. I don't think rabbits are like that since they occasionally eat their own dung.
Anyway, I'm wondering if one were to spread rabbit poop around the garden, would that keep rabbits away?

Lead Poison them...If you have two right now you will have 16 by the end of the season. If you can't get rid of them plant them some beans. Rabbits are not that territorial.

I'm in a backyard garden. So, some of the options that I might use on a farm (like a rifle) aren't available to me.
I think that I might just need to build a fence.
But, do beans really work? We had beans in the garden last year and the one that I saw a couple of times seemed to prefer pumpkin blossoms.

crammed, i have rabbits in my yard. i put down a border of blood meal around the perimeter of the patch, and rabbits didnt bother with my plants one bit. I didnt till the blood meal in, just set it right on top at the very edge of the patch.

I bought a Beeman spring operated air rifle. It shoots nearly as hard as a 22 cal, sounds softer than my storm door closing and is competition accurate. They are on line. The Model 7 was the quietest one in relation to feet per second of the .177 hollow point pellet when I purchased mine.
This is not a toy. Lewis and Clark had this design gun for food gathering, for the same reasons I have it. The Indians do not know the sound if in fact they might hear it.
I return all bounty to the cook pot or the compost pile. Nothing is wasted. Wabbits are good eating.

I build up a hawk pole (a 20' high flag pole with a 2' cross bar on its top)on one side of my patch. Since then I´ve no mices nor rabbits in my patch.

My water tower has two barrels painted black with two huge eyes watching over the patch. That didn't work either but it scared the poop our of a neighbors grandchild. He will not sleep, on the good view side, of the house. Told his grandpa he does not like the eyes. :)
