I noticed up at my patch today a small area (few inches) of yellow mold maybe? It was on top of the soil, in it a little behind my windbreak. it had a texture of cat crap heheheheh hope it's ok to say that:) It was bright yellow. Is it a slime mold or something? Hope it isn't bad for the plant. Only found one small spot in whole patch. Thanks. Jimmy

Could be a slime mold. May also be a mushroom of some sort. I'd scrape it up & send it to the neighbor who owns the yellow cat just to play it safe ;o)
