yes sevin is perfectly safe on pumpkins i use it up to once a week depending on how dang many cucumber or japanese beetles i see it wont cause any problems just follow instructions on bottle good luck and grow ya a monster

i used ortho bug be gone big mistake cukes where all over dusted with sevin and now there gone or lying dead wish i would of done it at the beginning of the problem im going to do it next week too just for saftey sake it was easy do apply and has not hurt my plants in anyway.

My fatherinlaw bought some sort of bag type trap designed for Jap beatles and he caught them by the pound!!! Im not kidding it worked wonders. It has a sent to it and when he opened it they came flocking and got traped in the bag.

Just make sure those bag traps are located at least 100 feet away from what you're trying to protect. Otherwise they take a quick meal on what you're trying to protect before the orgy! LOL
