I have white foam at the stump of a plant. What is the prognosis, will it spread to other plants? Also can not find vinclozolin, where might a person find this?

There seems to be quite a bit of Sclerotinia this year.
We sell Vinclozolin as "Touché Fungicide". Go to our website to see if a store near you has stock on hand. I have some in stock & can ship UPS if you get in a pinch.

You might also look around for "Ronalin" by BASF or "Curalan" by Scotts.
For the record, all Vinclozolin tech is made by BASF regardless of how or for what it is labeled. It is the best for controlling Sclerotinia Stem Rot (aka White Mold) according to the universities.
Check this link but keep in mind that a lab might be employed for 100% accurate diagnosis.

i had a stump do that last year to me. it was from overwatering (my fault). i just dried it out, and lost the stump, but the fruit continued to grow without it, and grew more than 50% of it's weight after the stump rotted off.
