I know WMV is primarily transmitted by insects i.e. aphids & cuke beetles. But does an infected plant harbor the virus in its seeds? i.e. if I plant seeds from a 2005 fruit that had it, will it necessarily show up in my 2006 plant? Frank

Unlikely that the WMV is transmitted in the seed the only way for to infect the plant like you know are the aphids or the other insects I had this problem in the past year, but never it was transmitted in the seed Sergio

Interestingly, some weird Hungarian variety of Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus (Polyvirus) has been detected in seeds of C. Pepo
None others that I am aware of.
