Its been really nice here except for this past Saturday. We had hail Saturday around 4,,hailed for about 5 minutes,,quarter size,,around 1-2"..Still had hail on the ground 5 minutes after it stopped with 80 degree temps.. We have been in the 80's for the last 2 1/2 weeks except for 1 day.. Forecast is calling for 90 tommorrow and Saturday. As in the past, the whiteflies have come to life.I noticed a swarm yesterday afternoon so I'll spray late this afternoon..Ya'lls spring might be right around the bend,,but my summer has begun..Good Luck to all in 06... J

My father-in-law and I were just discussing the bug issue. With a milder than usual winter and a warm spring we agreed that the bugs were coming in force this year. In fact he told me that he has already seen the little white butterflies (cabbage worm) floating around. We usually don't see them until early to mid May.
