I have seen my first 2 cuke beetles the last 2 days. My question is, I'll be using Triazide .5% Lamba-Cythalothrin solution at the given ( or diluted rate) is this the right thing to do when expecting possible frost the next 3 nights. Plants will be protected and the days are to be sunny and upper 60's. I know not to spray the new growth and to apply in the evening. But the cold night stress is of concern. The plants are doing well with 3' to 7' mains. This certainly isn't an infestation(yet), and the frost should knock the bugs down for awhile. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks, Dan

Keep the rate down & make sure the plant has dried before the warmth returns (if it ever does). When humidity keeps the plants wet from an evening spray into the following day, a light watering before 10 AM is a good idea even if some bugs survive.
