El cuadro en tu diario parece una falta de la polinización. Cuando sucede eso las pequeñas calabazas abortan y mueren.

Looks like fusaria to me..I had this same problem with the same black spots on the fruit when they went down...Fresh tissue samples should be sent to the lab to confirm. good luck!

Look in my 2002 diary....september 25th entries ...After the tissue sample was sent ..the report was Fusaria, Alternaria (sic)...

I've dealt with both Fusarium & Alternaria fruit rots. After starting to use sand under the pumpkin the rots most disappeared. Spraying the fruit with the regular fungicide sprays made it completely go away.

Thank you very much, friends: I go urgent to the store to buy fungicidas to fight the Fusaria and Alternaria.... This year they have rotted but of 20 future pumpkins. The last year but of 40. A very warm greeting to all the friends. Jose Luis.
