Ok heres a new one, it hasnt rained much here all year and now we got over 2 inches in a week. I went out to the patch and the soil is green on top with a mossy look to it. Is this a problem or is it the problem showing its self that has taken my plants out? Thanks

Marty I typically will have green soil around my stump, even with good ventilation. I have always thought it was from my heavy dose of (molasses et al) that I use as a drench. This never shows in my garden where I do not drench, just the heavy applied area. John
