One of my 3 plants have I think Suash Vine Borers. Should I pull out the bad dying plant? Most all the leaves are drooped. Will the drying plant infect the remaining 2? Are all my plants doomed? What can I do? HELP!

Bim,
If you can see a definate hole in the vine with some frass,(like sawdust), I would say you probably have SVB's.(Seen any black and red moths around?) It's not the best for the plant, but you can split the vine and remove the borer. Some growers have also had limited success injecting beneficial nematodes. I'd also check for their eggs under the leaves. It sounds to me more like your problem is caused by the cuke beetle. Unless it's heat related, sounds like bacterial wilt. No hope in this case! What kind of/how often has your insecticide program been? Wilt has been the downfall of many a pumpkin grower! Good luck!

try slicing the vine and removing, then use a real pesticide for SVB not sevin...something like warrior-t or scimitar cs. I use triazicide from Lowes it is cheaper but has the same ingredient as those
