I noticed something has been eating my pumpkin leaves. First I thought it was insects but then I noticed that the bites seemed too big to be insects and that some plants were perfectly fine( they are close together) Is it insects or rabbits?

I had a cat eat 3 of my plants this year. They were about 2 weeks old , just starting to grow. I was using fish emulsion to feed them. Guess the cat could smell it . Could be most anything .

Yesterday it was only the edges but today I noticed there was one in the center so I'm pretty sure it is insects. I'll use pesticides if it gets out of control.
