A customer came in today and we of course got to talking gardening.. he told me that he uses self rising flour to keep the bugs killed out of his garden..He swears if you use a flour sifter and sift the flour on the plants the insects will eat it and then it will expand inside them and "blow them up"..I'm not doubting his word but...have any of you ever heard of this? thanks!

I wouldn't trust my prize genetics to this treatment but watching exploding Squash Bugs does sound like a fun experience! LOL
