Because my pumpkin wasn't getting enough sun, I was putting it outside, on the cement patio, to get some sun. It was a temporary fix until I move into my new place on Friday, and it has access to better indoor lighting.
Unfortunately my landlord decided to mow the lawn with a weedwhacker to make the place look presentable (college town, I rent just like everyone else). But the landlord is also infamous for being a drunk idiot half the time, and took the weedwhacker to part of my pumpkin plant.
The plant is limp now, two male flowers were torn off (no female ones have blossomed as of yet), two leaves town off, one slightly shredded, and one cut. And one vine was snapped off entirely.
Is there any way to help nurse my pumpkin back to health, or should I just start a new plant? I've watered the plant, and given it some more MiracleGrow, and I hope this helps, but I'm not sure.
Oh, my poor pumpkin. ;-;

Is it unusual to be able to carry around a pumpkin in a pot? I know that I don't have any vines longer than a foot or two, but the plant is blossoming. It's not a giant pumpkin, I doubt I'll even be getting five pound fruit off of it because of the current conditions, but being able to carry it around isn't that unusual, is it?
Oh, poor pumpkin, now it's a freak of nature too, isn't it? ;-;

LL,
Start another one just in case. Moving them around is unusual to a competitve grower but if you're having fun - move them around. They're your's. Move them enough & the drunken landlord might not find them.
