Here is a photo of the bug I was asking about in my earlier post. Anyone have any ideas as to what it is? Only found it on my cucumber vines (which were pulled up and taken to the dump today).

Mark: from the picture it looks like a ladybug larva, if this is the case then it's on of the good-guys and was probably gobbling up aphids? Glenn Peters

Yes, it's a good guy, a ladybug larvae. I was freaked out when I found them on my plants a few years back too.

Ditto - It was a lady bug larvae which would have been attracted to aphids.
