I was delivering today on my route and as i was walking up to the house i passed by this odd looking flowering plant. I stopped to check it out and i couldn't believe my eyes. there were 5 svb moths located on this plant.I figured i'd save any would be gardeners in the area some heartache so i commenced to smashing them on the driveway. I left the area thinking i had done my good deed for the day!

That is so funny! I can just imagine how you must have looked. Public servants are such an underappreciated bunch! It is not only those hauling children and kitty-cats out of burning homes that are saving heartache! On behalf of the gardeners in your area, I think you. :-) Patience

It would be very interesting to me to know what that plant is. Maybe a good secondary(maybe even primary host) for the borers. Might be good to plant these next to our pumpkins?
