Hey everyone, I looked at my plant this morning and I found blackened leaf edges with some nasty looking things crawling.
Here is an image:

They look like wasps, but smaller. Anyone know what these are?? I'm putting bug killer on the plants today, and I already pulled these blackened leaves off the vine. I want to make sure these guys never come back again.

Never seen those before. Are you sure they are the ones actually doing the damage?

I didn't recognize them either. Try catching a few & get them to your cooperative extension offices entomologist.

Ossining huh? Steven's Street in Valhalla is your closest Cornell Cooperative. Are you Jim's buddy?

Those leaves look pretty far gone. I don't think that those insects are the cause but rather are interested for some other reason.

Well, I ended up cutting off the two leaves that had the problems, at the base of the stem. I haven't had any other leaf problems yet. Next time, I will have to take these bugs to a entomologist. Thanks for the suggestions.
