I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to what to apply to get rid of wire worms if you fund them in your patch?

steve connolly did an article for the SNGPG AND suggested puting 1/2 of a potato in the ground on a stick every few feet and pull them out after about a week and the worms will be on there for you to kill, he did not say how to kill with any pesticides
try this too

The last time I had to deal with wire worms I used Diazinon. Since it is now banned I'll need to snoop this one out.

If you're sure they're wireworms: Cruiser
Lorsban (remember Dursban?) is still regitered but not easy for a backyard grower to obtain. Cruiser is a second generation neoniitinoid (same family as Merit) so it's a lot safer for you to use.
