First attempt this year. Any products I should apply before planting in the next 10 days? While prepping the patch I noticed some white grubs in the soil. I live outside Chicago. Thanks.

I'd probably wait for an answer by Tremor but I did see a Bayer Advanced formula with Dylox...sez it kills white grubs on contact....the older familiar Bayer Advanced formula with Imcloprid, if I read correctly is not effective on adult larva ...so they are gonna eat and transform to whatever it is they transform to but the young larva will not make it back down in the ground. The Dylox formula was twice the price...But I wouls definitely do something pre planting...GrowEmBig! Chuck

Not Dylox (triclorfon)...it isn't systemic. Bayer Season Long Grub Control (Imodacloprid) is what we need. \Bacon,
What state are you in?

See I told ya to wait on Tremor!!!! LOL Does that advance formula have both and that is why it's so expensive? Are the large adults done eating or will they eat till the end? Thanks Tremor!

Ilinois is just a bit warmer than us. Chuck is similar in NJ.
Treat the entire patch (where all the roots & vines will be) with Imidacloprid now. Keep it damp for the next few weeks. Repeat in 7 weeks.
