I know they can be a problem with set punks and chewing upward, but do they cause a lot of damage early? I can't get the sucker with traps yet, next is telprid I guess. Just didn't know how worried I should be at this point, and where this is on the priority list. Thanks for replies!

Talpirid will work if you haven't yet developed the touch for Victor harpoon traps.

Thanks Tremor, talpirid in the mail as I type. Works good I hear? Better than the Rodentator? Jeez I want one of those.

Last time we grew we had a very bad mole problem and could not catch them in the traps we had set. My wife finally figured out that if you go out in the patch and push down some of the runs in the morning around 8 a.m. to maybe around 10 or 11 a.m. and then just set real still and watch the area where they are giving you problems you will see them moving the ground and can just use your hand and reach down into the dirt and flip them out and step on them. When she finally started doing that we had good success at eliminating most of them. Takes a lot of patience to do it though.
