looks like older sunburn damage from say 2-2.5 weeks ago...or damage to what was tip leaves during spraying a while ago. I would have to survey the frequency and location on the plant for a more definitive guess.

I'd guess insects,,,check the underside of the leaves very carefully for evidence

Agreed with Dan, looks like you might have a spider mite issue.

I'd say it looks like you may have multiple issuse. The damage on the left looks like a burn, sun or chemical. On the right it looks like it could be insect damage. Or did you have any weeds growing under that leaf? I've seen weeds growing under a leaf do that, or possibly another leaf or vine, the leaf cat get "worn thin" and it looks like that.

It could be three things I think. It could be cucumber beatles. A nice dosage of cheap garlic powder can help that. It might also be slugs too. You can do many things about slugs. You can put out beer for them they will climb in and die. Talk about drowing your sarrows away. Also you probly have sunburn like other people say. Also if the rest of the plant is droopy give it some blood meal or dryed blood. thats just from my experence.
