I know it is early to discuss these little creatures, but last year I was infested with white flys. I sprayed almost daily and just kept up with them. Any suggestions?

Hi....I fought white flies all winter on my squash clone and didn't do well at all. I hated spraying toxic chemicals in my basement. This year they are outside in the pumpkin patch,on my Forsythia and rhododendrums. I have dusted the pumpkins with sevin dust to make them less palateable....we will see if that works. Perhaps eliminating them isn't in the cards....I'd settle for making my squash plants les tasty than the other plants around it.......good luck....Glenn
