Sevin does not work well. Triazicide works alot better.

I use sevin at half strength for cucumber beetles and it works great. Only spray at dusk when the heat of the day has passed

The cucmber beetles where I live eat the sevin and do not die I've seen it myself.

I use esevin dust in rotation with or mixed with premethrin dust on the stump and vine for borers and other bad bugs. I also use Merit and triazide with garlic for a repellant. Seemed to work great last year.
