Do you use any? What do use for grass? What do you use for broad leaf? Same for both? After plants go in, do you use any herbicides?

The only herbicide I use in the patch is glyphosate (roundup). Pre-plant to knock down weeds. Then shielded spray as the plant grows. Just don't get it on the plants. I may use some other preemergence around the electric fence to keep weeds from shorting out the wires. Either Preen or Princep. Just a very narrow band so it doesn't get near any plant roots.

Tim , up here I use one but only on the rows of field pumpkins . It's called Strategy and helps to control certain annual grasses and broadleaf weeds .
