i have some leaves that i thought were scorched a bit but i was just looking for other opinions on whether it looks like early disease symptoms. please check out my diary sometime today after the pictures clear through and see what think and respond if you have seen similar leaves. thanks, shazzy

Mosaic virus often starts like this. Then again leaves often look that way after a spell of cool rainy weather.

my guess is it this came from the heavy rain you just had,,a couple days of consecutive sunshine should cure it
IF you can get that in the midwest this year!

Shaz, I had kind of the same thing last year but it was due to cold weather and lots of rain. Once the sun came out, it all started looking better.
Hope it is not Mosiac and if the plants are still under plastic in a hoophouse, I've been told not to spray anything...not even kelp/fish.
Hope it works out for you, keep your diary updated.

thanks all. we have only had full sun for maybe 4 days in the past 2 weeks. besides that we had temps last week in the 40s at night for 2 nights in a row with record lows of 41. i know many are having it worse off weather wise than me, so i will not complain, but i have never heard more people at work or on the street complain about the weather as i have heard this spring. guys were wearing hooded sweatshirts with the hoods up last week during the day time at work in northern illinois by the lake. sheesh. thanks again guys, shazzy
