My dad was looking to get some 5% and the guy at the feed and seed said it was being restricted and would have to have a license to buy it soon. Needless to say its real hard to find some around here now. Anyone know if there is any truth to it. I looked online and couldnt find anything except they were talking about it in '04. Thanks. Rick

This is correct. The Feds know that most consumers end up dreathing a lot of Sevin dust so there is a move to either remove dust from retail store shelves or reengineer the duster tubes. For sure you won't find Sevin dust in bags being sold retail any more. Licensed applicators should still be able to buy it if their distributor is willing to order it.
