I have noticed that on a couple of my plants several leaves will ooze small droplets right at the base of the leaf stalk and main vein, any idea what this is? It almost appears like the main vein on the leaf is splitting and is oozing to heal itself (like you would expect to see on a growing pumpkin). I believe it is only happening on the older leaves, but need to do more research. I just noticed it last night. The plant and fruit all appear healthy. I'll try to post pictures this evening if that will help. It doesn't appear to be causing any damage, but I am very curious as to what it is.

Has it been windy? After a rain it doesn't take much of a fissure to "leak" a little.
