Here in central Florida we have severe problems with powdery, downy and white flies. If you don’t spray you have a 100 percent chance of crop failure. The problem is that with my weak consumer grade hand sprayer I really can’t wet the underside of the leaves. The other day I found the answer. I was repairing a broken pressure washer that someone gave me. I sprayed a blast of water on the garden just to test it out. It took me about 1 minute to wet 1200 sq. ft. of beans; every leaf was wet top and bottom. If you prime the line with pressurized water from the tap you can quickly disconnect the garden hose from the tap and insert into a bucket of already mixed/ fungicide or insecticide. At 200 psi it sprays more like a commercial air blast sprayer. The only problem is that you can’t spray wettable powders because it will tear of the piston pump. Just thought I’d share.
