I've switched to Bifen IT. It is just as effective on SVBs and much cheaper. Combined with Merit 75 it is a knockout.

AGREED. I've been licensed since 1988 and we use generic Talstar with imidacloprid too.

how does the talstar do on squash bugs

Id like to know too. Last year I only saw one SVB but the squash bugs were horrible.

Talstar when I shot them with it they crawled for about 10 min and fell off twitching. A good squash bug is a dead one IMOP.

heh maxboostbusa did they fall off twitching drunk from the talstar or did they end up dead?

they died a drunken haze. After they fell off they twitched for about 5 min then dead. I watched the first time I saw them and sprayed'em. Laughed the hole time I hate those stinking little bugs.

tammy my local southern states co-op sells it no license needed im definately using it this year i think i saw it for $40 a qt its not listed for squash bugs but i know others who have used it they agree with rick good luck
