Can someone tell me what is happening to these leaves? It is black steaks close to the edges and on new growth.
Frank Finders has looked at the pictures and thinks it is burnt from the sun (heat)......Just asking for more opinions.

I have a leaf that looks exactly like that one. Mine was tucked under a leaf stalk and when I moved it away I noticed the dark area where it was touching the leaf stalk. That is all I can tell you. I don't understand exactly why the leaf stalk touching a leaf would do that. Maybe the little prickly leaf stalk had something to do with it ? or maybe it held some moisture between the area. If the rest of the plant looks ok, I would not worry to much.I have been religiously opening my hoop every morning and the inside is always cool, so mine did not burn.

Looks burned to me too. 1st day they wilt/dryout, if the plant can't recover the area, it dies/turns black like that. At least thats they way they look here when they burn.

I found a few more leaves on my plant today that look like that so disregaurd what I said above . Mine were burned obviously too. I now have a chair over mine to prevent any more burns on the new , delicate leaves.

Thanks everyone......I set up a sprinkler/mister last night. It is programmable so I have it starting at 11, 1, and 3 to help cool the plant....I set the runtime at 20 minutes.
Hope this helps.
