I am new at this. This is my first pumpkin patch. I live in Central Florida. Everything seemed to be going so well. I have a few baby pumpkins sprouting. Now the leaves are yellowing - badly too! And the vines are dying. I dont know what to do. Please help.

A picture would help to see what is going on.

A grower in Florida was experiencing the same type of problems, after a few months he finally took a water sample to be tested and found that most water in Florida has such high levels of salt in it that every watering was slowly killing the plants. I would get your water tested.

Wish I had better news for you but that plant does not look like it has much life left in it. Can you start more seeds? I wouldn't think it would be a problem starting over since Florida does not get cold.
