list members, i would appreciate any input here on perhaps a big boo-boo. checked my plants mid-day and noted what looked like those little flee beetles, tiny specs that look like pepper, but jump when approached! made up a solution of ivory snow dishwashing detergent for sprayer bottle and went at it. now plants aren't looking so hot...mottled leaves, curling at the edges, generally not so healthy looking. have i croaked them for the season, or might they possibly pull through if i don't repeat my errors? i gathering that there is a big difference between ivory snow and genuine insecticidal soaps any input would be greatly appreciated duff.

HI, I would try to give them a FRESH WATER cleaning with the water coming out soft like a mist. How much soap did you use? one ounce to a gallon of water should have been OK as far as I Know.

water and list, thanks for the reassuring reply. plenty of fresh water appears to be turning the plants around, as well as some much needed sunshine ! best of luck to all in '00 duff
