Though I'm using "MOSQUITO BARRIER" and it's keeping 99% of the bugs out of the garden.I have spotted a couple of cucumber beetles and a couple of squash beetles. I think this stuff is great. However,it needs something to kill the few that do get thru.

I agree kurty. I really appreciate the efforts of those growers who are determined to control pests organically, but I've never seen anyone with any pest pressure at all who was successful on a consistent basis.

I applied it at triple the recommended concentration to see if it would get the stragglers out of the patch. They migrated to the growing tips and fresh flowers.

Have you applied a better-quality, fresh-water sourced, diatomaceous earth on the surface around the stump location ?....and perhaps finely dusted the leaves and exposed stems along the length of the vine ? Look up "Crawling Insect Killer" and consider getting some to use. It's completely natural, and also can impart similar benefits to one's soil in the current season and those in the future.
Do those beetles walk to get from one place to another ? Use some DE, as insects do not enjoy making contact with this substance ! It cuts them up, they lose body fluids, dry up....and die.
