Cuke Beetles have arrived in So. Maine. Last year I saw my 1st one on June 6 . Here it is May 30th and saw 5 this morning so I dusted lightly with 7 dust and they are knocked out. Al

I've usually been beat up pretty good by now & I haven't. Cool weather or Scimitar/Pounce combination perimeter spray? Either may have helped. But it was probably both.

saw the cuke beetles here today. About three weeks ahead of normal. Sprayed with seven and added merrit granular to the soil this evening.

I haven't seen any yet; last year they were in the patch BEFORE the pumpkins. I suspect this is due to the constant rain & cool temps. I seem to recall them appearing after a few days of 80-degree weather...still waiting on it. Bryan

blasted cuke beetles are at my patch now. They seem to be enjoying my tomatoes the most. I have been using sevin on the patch.
