Got my first squash bug of the season today (6/4/03). I have wooden sticks (for stakes) to support the plant at this time and boy do those squash bugs like to hang around on those sticks. Easy to catch & SQUASH. Al

Really not sure, could be pine but for some reason any kind of stick I use to help tie the plant to before the vine gets a few feet long seems to attract the buggers. Also makes it easy to spot them.
